Perfectha Deep main ingredients and device properties

Perfectha deep contains stabilised, biphasic hyaluronic acid of non-animal origin. The concentration of hyaluronic acid is 20 mg/ml with 8000 gel particles per ml.

Each box of Perfectha Deep contains:

• 1 x pre-filled syringe
• 2 x 27G needles
• 2 traceability labels

Optimal storage instructions

Perfectha Deep should be stored in a cool and dry environment at a temperature between 2°C and 30°C. The product and similar PERFECTHA offerings should not be frozen, and it does not require refrigeration.

Mode of administration

Perfectha Deep should only be administered by qualified medical practitioners.

Preparation:

• Thoroughly disinfect the treatment area.
• Attach the provided sterile needle to the syringe.

Injection: 

• Use the recommended serial puncture technique, retro-injection technique, or a combination of the two.
• Push the needle into the patient’s skin until you can see the outline of the needle but not its colour.
• Slowly pull the needle backwards while directing it upwards.
• Stop applying the gel before you remove the needle to avoid overflow.
• Gently massage the treated area to ensure proper placement of the product.
• Apply an iced water compress to the treated area to reduce swelling.

Post-treatment care

For optimal results and faster recovery, patients should adhere to these post-treatment guidelines:

• Do not apply makeup in the next 2 hours after the injection. 
• Avoid extended exposure to freezing temperatures, UV rays, as well as saunas for the next 2 to 3 weeks.

Potential side effects

Although it is usually well-tolerated by patients, Perfectha Deep might result in minor reactions. 

Common side effects:

• Swelling, redness, pain, and bruising at the injection site.
• Tenderness, itching, and discolouration in the treatment area.

Rare reactions:

• Formulation of nodules and indurations.
• Increased sensitivity.
• Allergic reactions.
• Granulomas.

The majority of side effects might occur in the first 4 weeks after the treatment, and they are usually resolved within 1 or 2 weeks.

In case of further complications, patients should seek medical attention. 

Contraindications for the treatment

Perfectha Deep is not suitable for the following groups of patients:

• Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
• Individuals under the age of 18.
• Patients who are hypersensitive to hyaluronic acid.
• Individuals with a history of severe allergic reactions.
• Patients who have infections near the treatment site.
• Patients with lesions, skin inflammation, or existing implants.

Practices to avoid:

• Injecting the filler into the bloodstream (it can lead to embolisation, ischemia, or infarction).
• Injecting the product into areas that are infected, inflamed, or previously treated with fillers.
